Lango integrates into its function as a coffee table the simplicity of the tongue drum, a percussion instrument that uses the table’s own surface to engage both the ear and the social interactions of those gathered around it. Through the simplicity of the cuts in its top, the table subtly suggests its musical character, harnessing the natural resonance of wenge wood and the cavity integrated into its legs to produce a sound that is both bright and deep.
